The Quang Trach – Pho Noi 500kV Circuit-3 Power Transmission Line Project is divided into four line sections, namely Quang Trach – Quynh Luu，Quynh Luu – Thanh Hoa,Thanh Hoa – Nam Dinh 1 thermal power plant,Nam Dinh 1 thermal power plant – Pho Noi. Our company has undertaken the line fittings for three of these line sections.
The Quynh Luu – Thanh Hoa 500kV Circuit-3 Power Transmission Line Project, spanning a total length of 96 kilometers, traverses two karst topography regions in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa. Sixty percent of the tower foundations are confronted with karst geological conditions, which significantly increase the construction difficulty. Our company innovatively adopted “modular precast pile foundations” (with a precast rate of 98%) and efficiently transported 10,800 tons of materials via the dedicated train line from Nanning, China to Hanoi, Vietnam. With the support of an intelligent monitoring system and rapid installation hardware, the project was energized on August 19, 2024, setting a record for the shortest construction duration of a power transmission line of the same scale in Vietnam, with a total duration of only 142 days.
