ToggleProject Background & Community Needs
Social Significance of the Resettlement Community Project: As an important livelihood project, the Wugang Resettlement Community aims to provide high-quality housing for relocated residents. Such communities require not only comfortable living conditions but also supporting infrastructure, especially the power supply system, which must possess high reliability, safety, and foresight.
Diversity of Community Power Demands: The electrical load of the resettlement community covers various types, including residential daily electricity consumption, public area lighting, elevators, water pumps, property services, and potential commercial facilities. This places higher demands on the rationality, scalability, and ease of later maintenance of the power distribution system.
SH Power’s Solution
In response to the characteristics of the Wugang Resettlement Community, SH Power provided a comprehensive power distribution facilities solution:
Core Facility Configuration:
10kV Power Distribution System: Rational installation of 10kV ring main units (RMUs) or switching stations within the community to build a reliable high-voltage distribution network.
Distribution Transformers: Scientific placement of multiple dry-type or oil-immersed transformers based on load distribution, converting 10kV high voltage to 400V low voltage for residential use.
Low-Voltage Distribution System: Configuration of GGD or similar AC low-voltage distribution panels, power distribution boxes, lighting distribution boxes, and JP comprehensive low-voltage distribution boxes to safely and orderly distribute electricity to each residential building and public facility.
Electricity Metering: Installation of centralized metering devices such as metering boxes JLX28 for easy management and billing.
Emergency Power System : Consideration of emergency power switching solutions for critical loads like elevators and emergency lighting.
Technical Highlights & Customized Design:
Rational System Planning: Based on the community’s master plan, scientific load calculation and short-circuit analysis were conducted, optimizing node placement to ensure voltage quality and reduce line losses.
Safety and Reliability Design: Both high and low-voltage equipment selected are mature and reliable products, equipped with comprehensive protection functions like overcurrent, short-circuit, and earth leakage protection. The design of distribution rooms and enclosures fully considers Ingress Protection (IP) ratings, ventilation, heat dissipation, and moisture prevention.
Ease of Operation and Maintenance: The use of modular, standardized distribution cabinets and boxes with clear labeling facilitates later maintenance and troubleshooting. Centrally installed metering boxes simplify management.
Aesthetics and Environmental Integration: Outdoor distribution boxes and branch boxes, while fulfilling functional requirements, are designed with consideration for aesthetics that harmonize with the community environment.
