  • Core Requirements for the Distribution Room: As the heart of the entire complex’s power distribution, the #1 Power Distribution Room is directly responsible for the stable power supply to various functional areas. The client required the distribution room’s design and equipment to not only meet current operational needs but also possess a certain capacity for future expansion. Key requirements included compact structure, ease of operation and maintenance, comprehensive monitoring capabilities, and a high level of safety.

In response to the specific needs of the Xintian Huacheng project, SH Power provided a comprehensive power distribution room solution:

  • Core Equipment Provided:

    • 10kV High-Voltage Switchgear (e.g., KYN28 type): Responsible for the reception and distribution of 10kV high-voltage power, including incoming lines, bus ties, transformer protection, and outgoing feeder circuits.

    • Low-Voltage Switchgear (e.g., GCS or MNS type): As the core of the 0.4kV low-voltage distribution system, it distributes power to terminal loads such as lighting, sockets, air conditioning, and elevators throughout the complex.

    • Dry-Type Transformer: Converts 10kV high-voltage power to 0.4kV low-voltage power for use by various electrical equipment in the complex.

  • Technical Highlights & Customized Design:

    • Reasonable System Layout and Reliable Protection: The high and low voltage systems adopted mature and reliable products. The high-voltage side was equipped with microprocessor-based comprehensive protection devices for precise protection of transformers and lines. The low-voltage side utilized intelligent circuit breakers with comprehensive protection functions like overload, short-circuit, and leakage protection.

    • Compact Structure and Ease of Operation and Maintenance: The switchgear features a compact design, saving space within the distribution room. The low-voltage switchgear employs a modular drawer design, allowing for convenient circuit isolation and maintenance without affecting the operation of other circuits.

    • Intelligent Monitoring System: The distribution room is equipped with a power monitoring system that monitors electrical parameters (voltage, current, power, etc.) and the operational status of circuit breakers in real-time. This enables remote monitoring, data recording, and fault alarms, significantly enhancing the intelligent management level of the distribution room.

    • Safety Design: The switchgear structure fully considers operational safety, meeting requirements for the “five preventions” (five kinds of interlockings).
