To meet “zero-excavation, zero-vibration, zero-emission” requirements at Pompeii and Sicily UNESCO zones, SH Power engineered three game-changers:- Non-invasive installation—micro-tunnelling, directional drilling and reversible anchoring keep all excavation underground, reducing heritage-risk to the industry’s lowest level.
- Rome rapid-response hub—a 2,500 m² bonded warehouse at Fiumicino Airport stocks 72 critical 220 kV/500 kV hardware SKUs, guaranteeing emergency dispatch within six hours.
- Real-time Enel-certified data chain—13 checkpoints from order to installation are live-streamed, giving 100 % shipment traceability down to every bolt batch number.
Over the past years we have enabled NUOVA to finish the 47 km Sicily UNESCO overhead-line retrofit 18 months ahead of schedule, cut archaeological-clearance wait-time by 30 %, and achieve zero incidents or public disturbance. The project earned RINA’s “Class-A Reliable Delivery” rating and created a replicable fast-track template for the next twelve heritage districts in southern Italy.
