Financial Hub’s Critical Power Supply Demands: As a super high-rise complex integrating commercial and office functions, Shanghai Shenyue Financial Hub hosts numerous financial institutions and prominent commercial companies. Such buildings have extremely high requirements for the continuity, stability, and safety of the power supply. Any power interruption could lead to significant economic losses.
Drivers: Green Building Concept & Environmental Policies: In recent years, the green building concept has gained increasing traction. Shanghai Shenyue Financial Hub also aims for high-standard green building certification. Traditional SF6 gas, due to its high Global Warming Potential (GWP), faces usage restrictions. Consequently, the client urgently needed environmentally friendly, efficient, and maintenance-free power distribution equipment that could both ensure power supply security and align with their sustainable operational goals.
SH Power’s Solution
In response to the specific needs of the Shanghai Shenyue Financial Hub, SH Power provided a customized 10kV Eco-Gas Ring Main Unit (RMU) solution:
Core Equipment Configuration:
10kV Eco-Gas Ring Main Unit (RMU): Serving as the key power distribution equipment in the project, responsible for the distribution and control of electrical energy. This equipment uses a safe, eco-friendly gas mixture (e.g., dry air) as the insulation medium, completely replacing traditional SF6 gas.
Technical Highlights & Customized Design:
Environmental Friendliness & Safety: Utilizes an eco-friendly gas mixture for insulation, significantly reducing environmental impact and avoiding potential gas leakage risks. All live parts are fully sealed within a tank filled with insulating gas, achieving full insulation and full enclosure, effectively enhancing operational safety.
High Reliability & Modular Design: The product consists of modular components, with core parts being fully sealed and maintenance-free, ensuring stable operation under high load conditions. This design also makes the equipment compact, effectively saving installation space.
Intelligent Monitoring & Operation: The RMU can integrate an intelligent monitoring unit to monitor key parameters such as current, voltage, gas pressure, and internal temperature in real-time, and supports remote communication. This facilitates condition-based maintenance, improving daily work efficiency and power usage safety.
Strong Environmental Adaptability: The product design is well-suited for various environments, including high altitude and coastal humid areas, ensuring reliable operation under complex conditions.
