Lao Cai-Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line Project

Lao Cai-Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line Project

Overview

The 500kV Lao Cai-Vinh Yen Transmission Project in Vietnam is a key project of the Vietnam National Power Grid. The transmission line is approximately 230 kilometers long, stretching from Lao Cai Province to Vinh Yen City. It aims to enhance the power transmission capacity of the northern Vietnamese power grid and ensure stable electricity supply in the region. The project is invested and constructed by the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and is expected to be completed in August 2025.

Technical Strengths and Product Advantages
  • High Strength and Corrosion Resistance: Utilizing high-quality materials and advanced anti-corrosion processes, the project is adapted to Vietnam’s humid and hot climate, ensuring long-term stable operation.
  • Precision Compatibility: Strictly in compliance with international standards (IEC, ASTM) and Vietnamese power regulations, it ensures seamless integration with the transmission lines.
  • Lightweight Design: Optimized structure reduces the load of tower materials, enhancing the safety and cost-effectiveness of the transmission lines.
