Overview

On June 10, 2025, the Hami – Chongqing ±800 kV UHVDC transmission project of State Grid Corporation was officially put into operation. As a core project of the national “West – East Power Transmission” initiative, the project passes through deserts, mountains, and regions with complex climates, imposing extreme requirements on the corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and stability of transmission equipment. SH Power deeply participated in the project and provided key technical support for critical nodes. The project will significantly enhance Chongqing’s power supply capacity and holds great importance for optimizing the allocation of energy resources in the western region, achieving the “dual – carbon” goals, and promoting coordinated regional development.
